Hej! I’m Jenny and I’ve drawn stuff all my life. My early work was mostly markers on walls and furniture, but since discovering paper my style has really come into its own. These days I love drawing on paper. It’s my favourite thing. (Though I’ve certainly tried other substrates.)
I’m a Swedish artist and illustrator based in Wales, and I specialise in clean linework and cute illustrations. I mostly draw adorable crocodiles or museum objects but I do a bit of everything!
I have absolutely no art background. I just draw stuff. I’m actually a conservator -- and not even of Art. (I look after stuff that mostly isn’t Art but still Important To Someone.) Mostly I favour artists’ markers and ink but I occasionally get out my watercolours or acrylics. I also do a wicked collage when the mood takes me.
I’m also the illustrator (...and the host and producer) for The C Word: The Conservators' Podcast.
Will you ship to [PLACE]?
Yes. I’ll ship artwork anywhere. Hooray!
When will my order ship?
Anything you buy in the shop will usually go out within 1-2 days. Delivery time is then dependent on where in the world you are, but it leaves my house pretty swiftly.
Is shipping always £5?
Yes. No matter where it’s going (UK or elsewhere) the shipping is a fiver. This may go up as postage rates go up, but for now it’s that as standard.
Do you take requests?
I sure do. Head on over to the Commissions page!
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever drawn?
I can’t tell you that. It would ruin this entire relationship if I told you.
Okay, fine. What are some weird things you’ve made that haven’t involved drawing?
I carved a lion out of cheese for someone’s birthday once.
Sometimes people have birthdays or anniversaries, I hear. Some people celebrate Christmas or Hogswatch, and sometimes you just fancy something special for a project you’re working on. That’s when I might be able to help!
Below are some examples of commissions I’ve done in the past.
Bob’s Burgers Portraits
I’m a massive fan of Bob’s Burgers and I love the art style. I started drawing people around me in the same style and now I offer that sort of thing on here.
- Portraits start from £60 for 1 person (each additional person, or pet, is another £15 on top)
- No or minimal backgrounds are drawn (bar furniture and a prop)
- Finished artwork will be scanned and coloured digitally and sent to you as a file suitable for printing
(I’m not actually affiliated with any of the creators of the show, I’m just an enthusiast.)
You’ll need to supply me with a couple of good photos of the person or people you want drawn: and make sure they’re interesting ones if you can! Unique hairstyles, distinctive clothes/accessories, personal poses, that sort of thing. Otherwise they end up looking like any background character from the show. (Which is fine. But hey, just saying.)
Netjeru
Once upon a time I ran a webcomic called Netjeru which was all about the ancient Egyptian gods and myths. If you’re a fan of the chibi-like art style I’d be happy to draw you some ditty artwork featuring the Egyptian deities of your choice.
- Drawings will be A6 in size, inked and coloured by hand, and signed on the back
- Base price is £20 for a single character - add another character for £5 each!
Other artwork
I get commissioned for all sorts: wedding invites, custom portraits, catalogue covers… The specifics vary so get in touch and I can give you an idea of price.
Whatever you commission will be sent to you in the post for an additional fee. Prices vary by region and size so I’ll happily quote you for that.
If you’d like something different, I’m happy to discuss it. :) Email away!
If you’d like to commission some of my art or just generally say hello you can do so here.
If you just like what I do but don’t fancy buying anything or talking to me is a bit scary then you can always support me by buying me a virtual coffee (it’s a digital tip jar, it won’t bite).
